Ballet

We have been wanting to find ballet classes for Maya for a while and found the perfect place. There are some other kids who also speak English and the teacher can speak both. The environment is really great. She went along to try and loved it!

 And while keeping ourselves busy until she finishes class. ..we came across this....:)

April...Taichung Library and more teeth lost.

We went to the 'new' library, it has been open about a year although i was not fully aware of that and it is HUGE!! There is a lovely children's area and there is even a decent selection of English books up on the fifth floor. The best part is you get to take out the books for a month...so i might actually get to read them in that time:)

Yay computer..even Naussica happy about that :)

We were out for lunch and a man asked if he could photograph the kids (it happens often here) and he emailed me the pics.

Maya made a puppet after watching Art attack on TV..she went off on her own and next minute there it was!!!

Ciro receives a print version of The Piano in the post...

Dylan has lost teeth at an incredible rate over the last few months...this was his second front tooth..he couldn't sleep and asked us to pull it. It was very loose but could have waited a day..he was adamant and even told us to use the door!! Which we did..after a bunch of tries...yippee!!

 

Then...he has been saving his tooth fairy money and his Chinese new year money for a Lego set...specifically a batman Lego set.

On another note...my own creative exploits...I knitted Ciro a Storm trooper sweater...

and with left over wool etc crocheted Maya a skirt :)

Some Daddy love....

March goings on...a catch up

 I have been without my computer for over a month as the motherboard died on me!! But I'm back now :) We went on a field trip with the school last month to a shoe factory and the kids got to make their own shoes with decoupage. They had loads of fun and Maya has lived in her shoes since...

 More scootering at the Wen Xin park in March..we have not been able to get out on the scooters for a couple of weeks as it has rained every weekend since!!

 We also went to the Taichung park and hung out with trees full of squirrels.
